I came with an open mind and left with an open heart, which was totally unexpected.  I was totally blown away by all the kindness and sociability with everyone.  S.N.

You did a great job of creating a safe shared space...that's more important to me than specific classes. The atmosphere of acceptance and encouragement of all is rare and precious.  J.C.

Having only women was wonderful. It made the atmosphere safer and much less pressured.  D.C.

Classes:
The Up-the-Neck class demonstrated a clear break down of things that seemed complex.  R.Z.

The Brazilian Guitar class was not too complicated. It had beautiful chord progressions and exercises. I walked away being able to do it! Hooray! A.H.

The Rhythmn & Grooves class provided and excellent tool box and great modeling of possibilities!  C.D.

As a beginner, I loved the variety of classes offered. The instructors were supportive, patient and encouraging. C.D.

The Beginning Technique class was fantastic.  I appreciated the teacher's ability to find the right nugget for a very diverse group.  A.B.

In the Songwriting class, I loved the format of song and comments...very illuminating even though, at the time, I did not have a song to share. Plus it was very good for me to hear such wonderful songwriters.  A.B.

The Chord Theory class was great. I got answers to questions I've always wondered about -- like diminished, Maj 7th and Suspended chords.  D.C.

The Celtic Band class was some of the best fun I've ever had.  M.A.

I got to play lead for the first time ever!  M.C.

I am blown away by the possibilties of playing in altered tunings! So beautifuul!  M.C.

I had learned a Travis pick by someone showing me and me memorizing. I had never quite related it to alternating bass. The Beginning Fingerpicking class put it into context and allowed me to vary what I do with a Travis pick.  R.S.

Performances:

The performances were wonderful! It was so powerful to see people step up who were at all different stages of their relastionship to guitar. C.D.

I thought it was great when the classes  performed their work, very inclusive, unintimidating, lovely common effort.  M.A.

I really enjoyed the performances A LOT. It was such a privilege to hear what people take risks to share.  C.D.

The collective and supportive atmosphere allowed  my relationship to the guitar to flourish!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  C.D.

Thank you both for your patience and encouragement and generous spirits! (Not to mention, you are incredibly talented and inspiring musicians!)  M.C.

All women - what a concept!  The camp was extemely encouraging and supportive, non-intimidating...it works and thinks the way women do! W.P.

I really enjoyed seeing women passionate about the guitar and really working on complex guitar materials. Anon.

It was a great stretch for me but it was just what I wanted.  I walk away with a brain full to go and practice with ... I'm overwhelmed and full, but thrilled with where I can go from here!  L.M.

I always expect to grow in skill and confidence in unexpected ways, which occurred again in spades!  V.C.

The food was spectacular!! And lots of it, and served with grace and love by women who also play guitar. Who could ask for more?  R.Z.
